Cherished grandfather of Christopher Sawatsky (Renee), Natasha Sawatsky, Kristin Robbins and Lara Robbins. Predeceased by his father Ivan and his mother Katerina. Arrangements out of Fonthill. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. George, 8 Augusta Avenue, St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00am. Rite of Committal will follow at Fonthill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Juravinski Cancer Centre.
