NEITHER though can add up to what you claimed, Wayne --- new "Trillions" having already been spent.

The first (so-called "stimulus" bill was around $700 Billion, not 'Trillion', and 40% of it was *tax cuts* and not 'spending'), and the second, the Health Care reform won't even take initial effect for several more years... so whatever it may or may not 'cost' (and it was argued to be fully paid for, very unlike Bush's big Medicare part D entitlement expansion) the one thing is hasn't done is 'cost Trillions' already. :-)

Does not come anywhere near close to "trillions" in new currect spending.
