Thread,

So we have witnessed LGND tanking on a better than expected diabetes deal, and then going further south with the market. Reports are that short interest has increased a little.

The only plausible reason I have heard for selling or shorting LGND is that its burn rate may be too high to support the trials, etc., that it has in mind. Since the ALRI call and the LLY deal, I would imagine the burn rate has changed. If I had the time I would figure it out myself, but I am rather busy right now.

Would anyone like to recalculate the burn rate and make fresh predictions regarding LGND's ability to finance their strategy? When I get the chance, I will crunch the numbers myself, but it could be a couple of weeks.

Catch y'all in a couple of days, Tuck
