I agree!

But that chart showed a STEADY and persistent increase in Plutocracy (a distribution of national income skewing toward the top one or two percent of the population, so that the share of America's income that goes to the top 1% of the population is now reaching the same 'banana republic-style' concentration that hasn't been seen in America since the depths of the Great Depression), a trend that has been proceeding apace since the late 1960s.

So, NO DOUBT, for any trend that is so strong and (apparently) long lasting there must be *many* reasons for it's happening.

After ADMITTING the fact: that it has happened... only then can we move on to ascertaining the reasons why it has happened....
