The iPad even with it's limitations is an immensely useful device. The apps are largely worthless but it gives me rdt without having to haul a net book around and it provides decent web access in the car using my verizon wireless, which is something my wife likes to have while we drive. So it is handy for very little money. I have no doubt the google offering will be more attractive to me. The iPad is cheap and the utility is good.
