only American Jews themselves can fix it I would say that principle applies to Muslims as well. Maybe I'm blind to it, but it seems as though the Jim Jones and David Koresh of the world have pretty well been shunned and excoriated by the Christian world. Christians started growing out of that behavior centuries ago. Of course, if all your judgments about the Christian world are based on Hollywood's grasp of it, you can say the principle applies to Christianity too. Only Hollywood's take is a lie, and they perpetuate it just because they can.
