Yes. So? We also know how many people are unemployed, and we know how many jobs are being listed. The number of unemployed far exceeds the listed jobs.

It is an employers market. They get to pick and choose. Those jobs don't stay unfilled for very long.

" She tells me she has jobs fort night audit in several locations. These are unskilled jobs but pay minwage. Nobody wants them."

Even if true, and you have a tendency to tell stories that don't match up well with reality, You are presenting an anecdote about a single employer. Which, given the figures, does not match up with what is out there. While she very well may be experiencing that, she is an outlier.
