Dan, the advantage of an Android phone for QCOM is that QCOM has a chance to supply the entire chip package, including Snapdragon with the radio chips. Just as the Blackberry 8830 is a world phone, for both GSM and CDMA, with a QCOM chip inside, I think the chances of a world phone running Android with QCOM chips are better (and more profitable for QCOM) than supplying only the radio chip, at best, for an Apple CDMA phone.
