I don't mind you voicing your opinions here. I may not agree with them, but I like free speech better. I also don't think simplistic solutions of any political stripe will work, and hopefully your counterpoints on food issues will get some dialog going. I will say, though, that I find the number of morbidly obese people in North America obscene. I read somewhere that when empires collapse, the general level of nutrition goes up. It certainly happened in the outlying regions of the Roman Empire. All those processed foods ain't good. CD p.s. I never considered it "my" thread, but wanted everyone to contribute whatever thoughts they had, and individually andcollectively we sort things out. Somtimes it works, sometimes it don't.
