things are not good but they are no where near as bad as you all make them out to be

I have a feeling that if the economy was in exactly the same shape that it's in now, but the White House and both branches of Congress were in the hands of the GOP, you'd be singing a completely different tune.

Actually, if the WH and Congress were in GOP hands, it would be you all who would be singing a very different tune. There would not be the negativity on this thread they I see now.

I see the problems with the economy but it is no where nearly as bad as you all present.

Face it... Obama/Reid/Pelosi now own this economy, for better or worse, and the upcoming election will reflect how the public feels about their handling of the situation. I do believe that your Pollyanna assessment of the train wreck we're heading towards is a distinctly erroneous POV, and that a thorough house cleaning in DC, come November, is close to a sure bet.

The Rs and their policies have proven to be failures for 8 long years. If Americans want to give Congress back to them after 2 years of Dems, then they deserve everything they get. They will be compounding the mistake they first made by electing Bush in 2000 and then again, in 2004. And the pain will grow worse.
