How about something unthinkable...

Like an agreement with Apple and Netscape so that Netscape Constellation runs on top of Rhapsody as a sort of Net OS and MSFT's Internet Explorer icon is avilable on it's desktop should anyone care to use it?

Trying to think of the unthinkable.

I think the following unthinkable may come true on Nov. 10th:

- Apple is not to merge with Oracle, but it will be acquired partially
by a group of investors led by Ellison, and probably only hardware
portion, particularly NC-related divisions;

- Apple has hatched a deal with Microsoft regarding Rhapsody license,
it may also be involved by other companies, such as IBM, Lucent.

I believe two and an half hours could cover lots of news to reveal.
The game is still rolling.

"My suspicion is that MacOS Rumors have everything right except
the Oracle merger. Rather, instead of an Oracle merger, we will
get an "event" like the Microsoft event Jobs previously staged,
announcing major new cooperation with Oracle on NC front, perhaps
even with a similar investment plan as MSFT in AAPL. Perhaps
Lucent will even figure into this"

That's exactly what I think.
