Thanks so much for your concern.

I went to my specialist at the spine center today. They did a lot of tests on my muscular strength, which does not seem to be terribly reduced from normal despite the pain. They had the MRI available.

The range of treatment options are : 1) wait to get better on its own, which is likely 2) get one or more cortisone shots 3) surgical intervention.

Bottom line is that I'm getting a cortisone shot next week.

Seems to be a little better now. The pain level is lower for a change. Still have to use the walker.
