Big KNY3 ,: "Until these studies are published or reviewed by the FDA, it is virtually impossible for physicians to find negative or positive data about an unapproved product. ". Not true.Physicians can get a general clue as to the nature of a forthciming drug by lookin at it's family heritage, brothers and sisters. For example. Aminoglycoside antibiotics. When the first one out Streptomycin was found nephrotoxic, we waited hopefully for the 2nd, perhaps less nephrotoxic. When it's brother came out later Kanamycin we noted unfortunately that tha t was nephrotoxic also.So when a few years later Gentamycin was about to come out half of us sang " this is going to be nephro toxic!!" . And it was. Then a new one still later Tobraamycin we were told, would NOT be as nephrotoxic. Now 75% of us said, " oh yeah??'.And Tobramycin is also quite nephrotoxic. And so their younger sister ( we are non-gender biased in this thread as I pointed out previously to Gary baggs, gg ) now, Amikacin. So I can tell you right now Big K: Phophodiesterase inhibitors are killer cardiac drugs and will so post soon as soon as my son hooks up this darn computer right. Viagra may not be a big killer but only time will tell. I am NOT holding my breath. I sure hope it work because MUSE or Viagra ALONE arn't enough; we need both.So far though we only have Vivus. ( I do that is, own Vivus stock, that is, gg; you don't, that is ggggg ). Also IMHO, I would get out of PFE. Too high PE. 30? I can assure PFE is not going to grow @ 30%/year.The cash flow into health care is drting up. Columbia HCA, Oxford, Merck are just the first signs. I would buy Vivus though because at least that can help you through some hard times, gg. TA
