Maybe Obama does not undersand that his base, liberals, are radical environmentalists. The last two years in Alaska, it has been so warm that this is the first summer, ever, that we have not had cool breezes in the afternoon because there is so little snow on the mountains. Russia just announced that the arctic sea ice is melting really fast. 6 degrees increase in temperatrue and we are toast. Right wing still doesn't get it that their kids lives are on the live with this incessant global warming denial. We don't need more capitulation to big corporations.
