Tom,

When you day lower lows, I presume you are talking about returning to the 7000. I definitely do not see that per my technicals for the longer term and for this cycle. Sure it could happen in the future but not this cycle.

Tom, I am actually seeing potential for higher highs. One example is the the DRG which when the DOW hit 8300 it broke the 500 barrier. The DRG hit 500 again 2 days ago and the DOW was only at 7700. The all-time high for the DRG is 505. Of course that DRG is not the DOW or the NASDAQ or the SPX, but it is still a major second tier index.

As I stated in my earlier note the short-term technicals are right in the middle range and can go either way and I dont have a clue right now if the supports at 7575 and 7510 will hold. The bias is to the downside.
