It's a joke that the NAACP says it was snookered by Fox. They started this mess. Too bad this lady took the fall.

I don't. I agree that the response by the audience was telling, at least for the part of the speech we saw. However, if this woman went on to illustrate how this was a turning point in her attitude I applaud her. It would be nice if everyone came into the world wise and well balanced, but mostly that isn't how it is and I'm okay with people coming to realizations however they do that. Completely aside from the speech or the crowds reaction to it, if it was purposely taken out of context Breitbart is no better than the NY Times, or the climate folks, and is treating his audience (me) as if I'm too stupid to figure things out for myself without being conned. This turns me off. As far as those who are not yet his audience but who might have been, he just slammed the door on them. The ends justify the means is one thing we complain about, and if it's bad for the goose it's bad for the gander. ARS
