Yep. It sure does. With the volume being so high in the last few days I wonder how many million shares were sold to hold the price at this level. If Goldman, Sach & Co was a major player in the last few days could there be a good reason for this other than pricing the options? I know they are not into the charity business.

possible reasons?
1) Jobs promised that there will be some "thick" for all of us. So Jobs and friends wanting all of us to make a few bucks had Goldman keep the price down so that we'll all have time to jump in before Monday. (ya..right)

2) Wanting to milk every dime out of shorts sellers someone is keeping the prices stable to prevent scaring Apple shorts away prematurely. But come Monday when the big news hits they'll let it all loose and let the 20 million short shares squeez each other to death, sending shares up the roof, punishing short sellers beyond belief and amuse Apple shareholders. (ya..that's it)

As you can see I really have no clue.

One way or another this is a supply and demand issue. Someone or

some group is supplying the stock to hold it at the artificial levels.

To some extent, this worries me.

Ditto. I feel like I'm sitting here, holding a full house, and every time

my turn comes around I throw a few more chips in the pot. But that

Goldman guy over there keeps matching me. And I'm starting to wonder,

does he have 4 of a kind or a straight flush, or is it my pot?

Good luck to everybody on Monday.

Question: The "event" starts at 2:00 PM EST, and runs 2 - 1/2 hours.

I assume they'll close trading in AAPL if anything significant gets

announced. Do you think that trading will reopen Monday? And, is the

market open Tuesday (Veteran's Day)?
