The whole Affirmative Action, "whine, I've got it so bad", mentality m.a.y.b.e. had it's place in the 1950's-1960's....with perhaps a s-t-r-e-t-c-h into the 70's....BUT THIS is the NEW 21st Century....We as a Country are at least 6-7 Generations away from even the Civil War.....That War which was fought in large part over slavery.

The Union won.

Slavery was a thing of the past. The people that live today have every single reason to succeed, NO MATTER what color we are, and every possible piece of wherewithal to do it as well, starting with their brain.

I have ZERO tolerance for people like Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton who continue to want to keep "their own people" by their own words, into a poor, pitiful and false belief system that they can not succeed because "whitey won't let them"....

We have had welfare for generations. We have had free scholarships for minorities who have applied themselves, received decent grades and WANTED to succeed financially and intellectually.

There should be NO more excuse for continuing the charade of 'oh those poor folks'....that is nothing but a poorly disguised vote-seeking (as well as disgusting) put down of folks who really know better than to succumb to that kind of petty elite snobbery.
