Peter, with all due respect, you appear to have gone off on a bit of a bender with that last remark.

For one thing, we haven't been talking about Fannie and or Freddie --- (so no remarks from me on that topic recently.)

And, I *STARTED OUT MY COMMENTS* making the case to ELIMINATE the federal cap on liability costs for oil spills --- so I fail to see how it could be as you say that you 'got me to realize that'. <GGG>

(I mean... I've *always* realized that, and supported eliminating that example of 'Private Profits and Public Losses', which is the very epitome of 'crony capitalism'.

That Private Profits and Socialized Losses should be ERADICATED from public policy and law WHEREVER it exists
has been, and remains, a long-held viewpoint of mine.
