Oh my...NOW I AM REALLY EXCITED. First I must apologize for jumping without looking. A friend of mine just called me all excited about a show he just saw with some analyst or financial advisor hinting to an ASND/BAY merger...but here is what is even more exciting. I called a friend of mine who works for LUCENT and asked him about ASND and how much business they were doing in his office with ASND. He told me business between LU and ASND is brisk. He also mentioned BAY without even me asking and hinted very strongly about a potential for BAY/ASND merger. When i asked him where LU fell into the game he hinted that LU just may come in and mop the whole damn mess up late next year or early 99. Then Kirk mentions this show he just saw!!! Something may just be brewing after all..Again I apologize for my rudeness .. and please keep us informed as will I. I know that my friend does not "know" anything necessarily but he is very smart and very up on LU's current business relationshiops with ASND and BAY and I am sure his innuendos are more than just a dream he had. Gary, can you give us some analysis of the potential of this scenario??? Hope everyone has a nice weekend!!
