Been watching RIG go up and down a couple times now. One of these days, I might get back in the action with RIG. But, after 4 months of trading other stocks, I'm realizing that it might not be necessary.

Plenty of other industries to play around with.

Retail, utilities, telecom, technology, transportation, food and beverages etc...

The only energy stock I've bought yet this quarter is XOM, which seems to have stopped going down. I have to admit that it's kind of nice being in companies without the persistent drama in the commodity sector. But, I think it's just a coincidence as everything is probably bottoming out at the same time right now.

It will be interesting to see how much money BP loses this quarter, and how their initial loss estimates will look for the next 4 quarters as they start setting aside $5 billion per quarter.
