I was in Best Buy (Computer store) two days ago and talking to sales people. They were told to encourage the selling of the 56Kflex instead of the X-2 modem. Reason explained to them was that most of the ISP's supported K56Flex. The K56flex was $50 cheaper anyway. It appears that customers are returning X-2 when they find out their ISP doesn't support X-2.

Now we had COMS stalling on the standard because they thought they could sell more Total Control Hubs to ISP's...this is going to bite them in the rear. I think it has started already with all the rumers about excess inventory of X-2 modems hurting COMS. Standard by January now with no delays.
