I might humbly suggest you lay off the koolaid yourself. Most, not all, of those who claim to hold the moral high ground are self-deluded twits who think they alone have solved the mysteries of the universe and they also seem to think the world owes them a favour. Let's keep this friendly discussion in context:

The 'science' of global warming is largely a collection of guesses and historical evidence that is subject to interpretation. I am willing to cut some slack on this because we really have no other way to calculate historic carbon levels except by estimates in connection with such related fields as measurement of tree rings, analysis of ice records, etc.

Where things go off the rails, and to me this is an indictment of the entire GW agenda, is how these same scientists go off the reservation and fudge the estimates and guesses they are using, SPECIFICALLY to validate their own pre-determined conclusions. This is the root of the climategate uproar.

It is fundamentally unsound science to pick and choose what data you are going to include in your modelling so that you can create a more dramatic outcome. Period. There is no way to justify or excuse this behaviour. That you have several so-called independent reviews which have overlooked this shameful neglect is just further evidence that the bias in the system has utterly perverted the entire process.

Lets assume that a taxpayer chooses to fudge the numbers he reports to the IRS to come up with a lower tax bill. Is that going to fly?

Lets assume that a drug company deletes some of the test batches that show trial cases where people get sick from taking the test drug. Just ignore the numbers that do not support the case you want to present. Is that science? Is that ethical? Is it going to fly when it is reported? I think not...

Yet the scientists who presented one of the key pillars in the GW scam have been exposed as frauds, in that they massaged the data to make their case. Who can claim this has anything to do with science?

Lay off the koolaid and wake up! You are being fed a pack of nonsense, and if indeed you have any understanding of climate and science as you claim, you should be reconsidering your conclusions based on this shameful conduct.

Moral high ground indeed. The same could be said of the majority of experts that once proclaimed the earth was the center of the universe. In fact, those who dared to suggest otherwise were burned at the stake. But in time the deluded and corrupt came to realize their science was false. I doubt this GW scam will end any differently.

cheers!
