I believe everyone was misled in this incident. I don't know whether the woman should have been fired or not, in retrospect. It is not clear to me that she shouldn't have been. When I saw the video, for me it was a no-brainer. It is a lot less evident when you put it in context.

But I do know that this activity is not as damnable as the kind of vitriolic hate speech that comes out of MSNBC, or the kind of insidious misreporting and omission that comes from CBS, NBC, ABC, NYT and the other MSM sources.


The problem is Breitbart purportedly 'staged' the incident by taking the video out of context and only showing the part most damaging to Sherrod. After he had been exposed for misleading everyone, Breitbart refused to apologize. And this is not the first time he has pulled such a stunt. The guy has the ethics of a snake.
