I recall Linda Chavez was one Repulican that got blocked because of household help.

I remember Chavez. I found it ironic that she got nailed for hiring illegals. At the time I was living in CA where it is not uncommon to hire illegals. I found it hypocritical that we are ineffective in preventing illegals from crossing the borders but then penalize people who hire them. Not saying hiring illegals is right....it isn't....its just there is so much hypocrisy around the subject.
