Ramsey, I often have the same problem. I am using Netscape Communicator and I have always considered it to be a Netscape problem. I have Win95 with a P 166. I usually get a message that Netscape has performed some illegial function. It only happens with multiple browsers open.

Ramsey,

It is a Java problem and nothing wrong with your pentium or browser (regardless of running Internet Explorer or Netscape). The problem is with multi threading and it causes system freeze most often. The problem is supposed to have been fixed in JDK 1.1, but I have run into it again (although not as often as before). Sun is aware of it and hopefully the patched version of JDK 1.1 should hopefully fix that!

Regards,
