consumption may be, but not likely on usa scale which was and remains unhealthy

Bingo...... although I believe the the US consumer is going to continue to retrench... lack of jobs, aging boomers.. and in the end will be good.. (my optimistic view :O)

EDIT: of course lower standard of living based on reality not credit :O)
