Kind of silly for those of Spanish heritage to claim that America stole those lands from Spain without acknowledging that Spain stole those lands from the natives. I am sorry.....I didn't know you were looking for logic in all of this mess. First came the Native Americans, then the Spanish, then the Anglos. Why the Mexicans might have a stronger claim is because they are both Native American and Spanish......hence the term Mazatlan....an Indian term.......which is part of the reconquering of the SW US by Mexico.
