MD, i'd only add that the whole low income housing thing provided cover for the real goal behind the deal - to blow the largest credit bubble in the history of the world, make billions on the way up, loot the hell out of the tax payer on the way down, implode the whole system and then pose as "saviors" with authoritarian rule once the american middle class is destroyed.

caring for poor people had nothing to do with it - not more than a handful of these mercenary politicians have the ability to "care" about anything other than themselves.

the criminals at the top LOVE IT when we scape goat the poor folks, or the stupid politicians, or the left, or the right...

it just means less light focused on the true criminals that are waging a disinformation and economic war against "we, the people" and our constitutional republic.
