It may have meant that at one time. It seems like it means anything goes now. Illegal immigration is not a problem. Sex ed for kindergartners is alright. Guns are bad, but drugs should be legal(that one I agree with). We are warming the planet with CO2.

These are the things I think of when hear social liberal.
