skeeter, >FF, i don't think actual paid taxes matters as much as campaign contributions and good press (it helps to own and control the media). Right, but there's a strong correlation between who's paying the taxes and who's making those huge political contributions (either directly or through corporations and other entities) If you look at the breakdown of who's paying most of the taxes it's still the rich despite all their efforts to avoid it as much as possible.
