Oh please....who are you trying to fool? Yourself? There are racists in the Democratic party. Is that the official stance of the party? Frankly a case could be made that the Democratic party in the US has ALWAYS used racial divisions, animosities, and fears as a political tactic. From the slavery era to today. They have simply changed their tactics to reflect changing realities. As LBJ said, “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” The Republican party has generally been a party that favored economic development and pro-business policies.
