If you were a doctor that is paid for a 15 minute visit, would you then chose to try to spend 15 minutes on it, or would you spend half a day to investigate the patient's environment?

It is more than 50 years ago, that the world found out how lack of physical exercise makes you sick. And still, many doctors prescribe acetaminophen or similar drugs when patients show up with symptoms that could get cured by physical activity. You can call that a financial aspect or defensive medicine or something else, but it's surely a sick system when doctors do that.

I recently cured a child from allergy by telling her parents that they should not allow her to have a PC in her room. It was turned on 24 hour per day, and for some reason they didn't think of that as a problem. Even their doctor had started to prescribe drugs, instead of fixing the PC problem, first - he didn't make a home visit to check out the environment, that's how cash-flow focused they are.
