Reality Check!

This news demonstrates VERY well that
VLNC still has to be regarded as a very
high risk investment at this point!

Don't forget VLNC is forging ahead on
the 'bleeding edge' of battery technology.
Everything you're counting on in VLNC is
subject to the risks this article exposes.
This news may also serve to deter any
analysts from sticking their necks out by
recommending VLNC before their product is
absolutely certain.

Anybody want to bet what happens to Utralife
shares on Monday?

Hi Alex, great to hear from you! - and thanks for the article. Including all posts since, It appears you have had the most time to think through its impact and implications.

Re: your statement <<This could be a tremendous opportunity for Valence if they can prove that they can do it.>> I believe they have had ample time to have learned from their similar experience and have a substantial lead with the technology. We know it took much longer than expected with their problematic line 1 from the same Florida Manufacturer (as supplied to ULBI) of pharmaceutical packaging equipment.

I believe the Italian manufacturer for electrical capacitors has an advantage due to years of experience with a similar process - stacking flat sheets of alternate materials and connecting them electrically. Understandably, Valence's results with their high-speed lines have been much more positive.

Until only recently, public statements have been conspicuously conservative as Valence has concentrated on perfecting their process. In my opinion, we should believe it this time when they say they are ready!

Best Regards! FMK
