7/30/10 Update It was one of those seesaw weeks, with neither Bulls nor Bears able to claim a decisive victory. At Friday’s close, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell back into the red for the year and is now down -.64% YTD (vs. up .01% YTD a week ago). Although the Nasdaq Biotech Index picked up a bit of ground, it remains down -.90% YTD (vs. down -2.53% YTD a week ago), while the Contest median also gained a bit for the week, finishing up 4.41% YTD (vs. up 3.62% YTD a week ago). ROCKY's portfolio (up 51.50% YTD) took over the Contest lead, barely slipping past the IDIX-damaged DEWDIL’s portfolio (up 51.44% YTD). FILO's portfolio (up 34.60% YTD) remained in third place. At Friday's close, 21 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and the same 21 of the 32 were beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
