Pat: <<<< The reporter being from Cleveland, didn't know anything about the festivities in New Braunfels. Realizing the potential for a major story the camera crew and reporter were last seen buying German clothes and practicing Polka dancing.>>>> Actually when I left Three, and Alison, Rosemary and David at noon today they were sitting in the dining room of the Holiday Inn singing the UGA-UGA Cha-cha song. Part of the police chase resulted from the fact that a lady in front of Rosemary(or perhaps Rosemary herself) attempted to snatch a Dell latitude computer in the Lobby display as we were leaving the factory which set off alarms all over the building and added to the confusion over the kidnapped cook. Venkie was outside with his CEO and CFO and therefore escaped the whole venture. The only reason we made it safely to New Braunfels through all those smokies with flashing lights and sirens was that they were looking for a white Bronco instead of Three's red truck. I guess the tour report will be rather long, so will start with another area, the corporate headquarter/administration/sales area at Round Rock. I drove around the place again and talked to the two guards in the lobby. In July the front face of a precast building had been raised in place. That building and another similar building are now structurally complete, their size being roughly 40 ft(3 stories high) by 125 feet by 220 to 350 feet. And another 3 similar buildings are being started, which will give a total of 5 new buildings. These buildings will hold, among other people, the sales and service people who handle interent sales. Therefore when M. Dell said he is putting in place the infa-structure to support ten time the volume of internet sales, it is a true statement. Attendees at the tour: Judith JUJU1015 who flew in from florida Venkie, with his company's CEO and CFO Klaus Three and Alison David and Rosemary Annette Sig and Jan In addition, our shuttle bus driver works for Dell and gave Rosemary a few clues as to recent major sales. Some encourageing statements from our tour director, at end of the quarter everything finished goes out the door, incoming shipments are cut to the bone, inventory reduced to minimum. All should tend toward a good Nov report. sig
