You preferred the senile choice I suppose????????? (Your pal John called McCain, here, a few days ago, a "race traitor". Don't know what the heck that is but it sure sounds bad. <g>) As for me, (and as I've posted many times on SI), McCain would have been the best choice back in 2000, but by 2008 he was well past his "use-by-date" and more then a touch too flighty and poorly informed on all things economic in the face of the Global Financial Meltdown for my druthers.... Old and outta touch.
