"But you seem very confused about what it does and doesn't do."

How so?

"A couple can easily make that by working a couple months out of the year. And they can collect Medicaid benefits and unemployment benefits and receive food stamps the rest of the year."

Now who is confused? I dunno about other states, but in Texas you can't work a couple of months and qualify for unemployment.

Your position is bogus. While there probably are some who are gaming the system, there is no evidence that it is widespread. There is plenty of evidence that there are bunches of people who lost their jobs with not a lot of hope of getting another one soon.

"While you liberal nitwits HOWLED at the Bush Part D benefit not being "paid for""

Apples and pineapples. When Medicare Part D was passed, we weren't in the middle of an economic crisis.

But, you know this.
