[Teligent, WCII, and Qwest]

Teligent is a WCII wanna-be headed by former AT&T president Alex Mandl. WCII is the real thing as far as i can tell and has a huge head-start on Teligent.

#HYPE ON
Is Teligent another Qwest? no way! QWST is a singularity. no one can duplicate their core asset: a 17,000+ mile (plus 1400 more in Mexico) fiber optic network of up to 600 fibers running at massively multiplexed (16X or better WDM) OC-192 rates. fully lit, we're talking aggregate throughput of 25 TERABITS/sec. we're talking 25 times the capacity of the network they're building for GTE. and then there's their great management team... QWST is HUGE.

<Plain ol' everyday take-overs scare me>

Booo!

<Is this another Qwest?>

As an IPO, it'll definitely pop. But did you read some of the press comparing WCII and TGNT?
