It is indeed heartening to see that they are aiming to cut down the bureaucracy and to also not bring back the insurance companies (for profit motive) into the picture.

The insurance companies are the biggest form of bureaucracy in the current US system.

My own experiences lead me to believe that eliminating health care insurance nationwide would greatly reduce healthcare costs.
