Now you see there is a straw man argument: Your world doesn't pollute and mine does. In fact, I haven't said fossil fuels don't pollute. You on the other hand have implied that no pollution is associated with solar panels.

Fossil fuel production, refining and consumption has caused many more orders of magnitude of pollution than anything else.

Well, of course they have. The civilized world mostly runs on fossil fuels. Clearly technologies that are more than 100X as big as solar will have produced more pollution.
