Most doctors knew better. That picture is more of good example of how large corporations lie i.e. that smoking won't hurt you. Remember just a few years ago every single cigarette company CEO said nder oath that cigarettes were not addictive. Also, that peopel will lie and be stupid. that is why science is so important as it requires theories be tested. Today the oil companies tell people global warming is a myth so they will not need to do anything to clean up their operations. And just as BP is trying to buy scientists in the gulf right now to say things are fine, so oil companies find scientists to say there is no global warming. And the gullible believe them.
