I am sure it is bad for the lungs, but outside of that the evidence is that pot is pretty safe and has many medical qualities. Very mild drug. Two years ago Scientfic american had front page articles in both its magazine and its mind magazine (google it) showing pot is a "tonic" for the brain. Tonic is their word. It prevents dementia by keeping protein build up off the brain and keeping neurons young, plus a few other things. Junes 2010 Issue of Science News has pot on the cover and has articles on how pot has been shown to prevent certain cancers in the lab, help people with MS prevent muscle spasms, lowers blood pressure etc, and they are investigating many other properties.

criminal drug laws will hurt you, too. h*ll, we are in afghanistan taking fire to guard poppy fields as we speak. the cia has been smuggling drugs and making billions to spend on... who knows what? i'll bet the crack heads wish the cia didn't bring it in and hand it out! property seizure laws associated with the completely failed drug war burns our civil liberties. 22k people are dead along the board in the last few years... how many died due to marijuana use? yes, marijuana is bad for you - but is it worse than prozac? aspirin kills as many people as die from the aspirin. did alcohol use go up or down once prohibition was ended? did crime go up or down once prohibition was ended?
