Koan, i am feeling that undercurrent thing too, with the platinum and palladium acting like we are heading into a rally and gold just doesnt know it yet.

O/T....away on the weekend and looking forward to market open early this morning(monday)when i got a call from good friends who out hiking in the mountains east of PG on Sunday had lost their dog. They searched till nightfall and then had to leave.

We got a party of four together and headed back out. These kind of things usually end badly as this is very unforgiving area....wolf , grizzly zero in pretty quick if the dog is not smart enough to stay quiet.

We hiked back up thru dense woods into the alpine meadows where they last saw the dog.We brought a rifle as grizzly stay by a kill and usually attack anything that comes near(us).Better chance of gold going to a million an oz overnight then finding a lost dog in these areas.

In one of the upper meadows between two peaks is an old cabin that can be used for shelter and we decided to go check it out as the dog may understand the concept of man made and zero in on this spot.

Yeah...one now happy city dog was waiting there.Never give up on a mutt.....he found the one spot(and stayed put) where he had a chance of being found.

I am now home , dog tired...but happy and still 3 days behind the market.
