It seems to me that Koch Canada is accumulating a large warchest. I have read articles in the last few weeks where they sold 1/3 interest in a pipeline, they sold 40 some acres of oil sands (in a different part of Canada) and just a few days ago I read an article someone e-mailed me that said they sold something (I cannot remember what) for $500 million. In the article that was with this announcement they stated that the money would be invested back in the oil industry in Canada but they were not ready to give specifics yet.
It would seem someone is going to have to make a pretty substancial offer if they want to out bid Koch as Koch has pretty well commited to moving in Solvex's direction (in my opinion).
The really good part as far as Solvex shareholders is concerned is that Koch will have the money on hand and will be able to move full speed ahead to get the plant up and running (whatever size of plant they decide to build). It will not be dependent on bankers or on what the investment community thinks of the idea. As a private company, Koch can do whatever they want with their money.
I have to believe that Koch didn't get as big as they are without knowing what they are doing. While some of the public firms have to be concerned with what shareholders have heard about Solvex, Koch only has to be concerned with what the real facts are.

Just thinking
