Your post proves my point, far more violence against women in America than the honor killings in the Middle East. Even more problems since they kill infants and children in the West more so than they do in the ME. So, anyway, where would a woman feel safe from physical harm? I don't think America is your answer, probably they'd take their chances in an honor killing country, the probabilities of their survival are far better.
