LOL! He's done well but so have many of your folks here once we learned the clx... A sub of mine axed about Hussman and said he's done well a few days ago. I checked his strategic growth fund an compared it to my explore portfolio over the period he's had the fund (2001 I think.) He does all this fancy smancy stuff to preserve capital yet his downside volatility was about the same as my simple portfolio from the highs b4 da meltdown... and our total return since his inception is close to the same.. If I recall, roughly up 35% or so vs the SnPee down 25% since his inception. So all that expense and hedging in a difficult market is great to be up a third... but if the market soars, he's so hedged he probably won't participate as much while my simple strategy with the micro and small caps for da juice... should kick his assets so to speak.

With the help of the clx to guide WHEN to take profits... something I was missing b4 finding you... and who needs Hussman? (picking bottoms or times to buy isn't as hard as tops or profit taking times...)
