Well about a week ago I expressed an interest in Gold. Now several of the gold stocks have hit new lows...like HM or ABX. This is really a scary picture: falling gold prices, falling interest rates, and falling stocks. BTW, is this what a Bear smells like: downdrafts with up days or 'comebacks' (did you hear how happy they were on TV about how the market faired today?) that never reach full recovery. Does there need to be a one day disaster for this to be a disaster (for the longs). Real bears are stealth like. IMHO a bear here will likely be a slow death as our stronger than average economy slowy unravels in the face of that 'world economy" everone was bragging about a couple of months ago. B. Man on the street update: a guy I know bought 10 grand of stock on that 'dip' last week --on this credit card --and then he went full margin on it.
