Pakistan is an Islamic state, with an agenda of its own. Its interests were served by creation of another Islamic state in Afghanistan. Despite the setback of Taleban defeat, Pakistan will not rest until Afghanistan is once again Islamic, under Pakistan's watchful eye. Pakistan is the epicenter of Islamic terrorism. The truth has been known for years. (Well, perhaps Bush didn't know, or want to know. <g> But, all kidding aside, I find that impossible to believe.) I, (for one), have been posting such information here about Pakistan for years now. Since their support of the 9-11 hijackers was revealed just a few weeks after 9-11. Ain't exactly been any kind of a 'secret'. And, as these leaked documents clearly show, the Pentagon, the State Department, etc., etc. have all know about Pakistan's support for terrorism for YEARS. Hell, any historian could tell you that (after the USA and Pakistan jointly created and supported the Mujaheddin fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan), once the Soviets left Pakistan's intelligence service culled the rebels that it wanted from those Mujaheddin fighters and created the Taliban... and have been supporting and protecting it ever since as an unofficial 'arm' of Pakistan, a sort of 'force multiplier' that enabled them to keep control of Afghanistan to their West, and so able to turn their military attention to India in their East.
