Right.

(Also is the obvious example of India... where I understand they had a lot of trouble with their fries because they used to use beef tallow to fry them in or flavor them with or something --- big no-no in a Hindu country, as I expect the veggie burger would also cause less problems for them there then the cow-derived Big Mac. And I expect problems with the MacRib in Islamic countries or in Israel. <g>)

Still, in general... they *do* try to standardize products, and localize sourcing as much as possible.

One of the very few Global examples of such that is possible to look at.

I imagine there is some variation from state to state concerning the actual "nutritional composition" as well, but the "item perceived" and being purchased probably remains relatively constant.

I am pressed to identify a more ubiquitous and “standardized” product. Any thoughts?
